Job management for UK trades
Finish the job.
We'll handle getting paid.
PatchUp sends the quote, books the job, raises the invoice and chases it for you — all from your phone, between jobs.

Four pieces. PatchUp handles the gaps between them.
The bit nobody enjoys
The job's done. So where's the money?
Every trade knows the feeling. You've finished the work, the customer was happy, and three weeks later you're still waiting. The invoice is somewhere in their inbox. Chasing feels awkward, so you leave it another week.
Meanwhile the quote you sent on Tuesday hasn't had a reply, next week's diary is three texts and a note on the dashboard, and Sunday night disappears into paperwork.
PatchUp does all of it in the background, so you don't have to think about it.
What it does
Everything between the enquiry and the payment
Quotes that don't slip through
Send a proper quote in under a minute. PatchUp flags the ones that have gone quiet, so a friendly nudge is a single tap away.
Invoiced the moment you finish
Mark a job done and the invoice goes out on its own, as a PDF with your logo on it. Before and after photos attached if you took them.
Overdue money, chased for you
Late invoices get followed up automatically — at 3, 7 and 14 days overdue, politely and in your own words.
A diary that keeps itself
Jobs, payment dates and reminders in one calendar. Book something in on the spot — or just say it out loud and let PatchUp fill in the details.
Regulars book themselves
Annual services, quarterly checks, routine maintenance. Set it up once and it puts itself back in the diary every time.
Your crew, with the right access
Assign jobs, share one between two people, and control exactly what each person can do — and workers you add as subcontractors never see your prices.
Where you'll use it
Made for the van, not the office
PatchUp works on your phone first, because that's where you actually are. Quote from the customer's kitchen. Mark a job done from the driveway. Check what you're owed while the kettle boils.
Add it to your home screen like an app, and your week's jobs stay on your phone — so in a basement or a signal blackspot you can still see the day's work and complete a job, and it syncs itself the moment you're back online.
Everything goes out under your business name — invoices as PDFs with your logo on them — in wording you can change to sound like you.
Pricing
One plan. Pay for who you've got.
No tiers to pick between and nothing to outgrow. £19 a month covers you, and every extra person is £8.
How many of you are there?
Most trade software charges around £30–£40 a month for every person on the team (£34 shown here as a mid-range example). Each extra person on PatchUp is £8. Same maths — very different bill.

Questions
The things people ask first
Do I need to be technical to use it?
No. If you can use WhatsApp, you can use PatchUp — most of it works the way your phone already does, and you can send your first quote within minutes of signing up.
Which trades is it for?
Any of them. Plumbing, electrical, heating, building, roofing, joinery, tiling, landscaping — the admin is the same regardless of what's in the back of the van.
How do customers get quotes and invoices?
By email, under your business name. Invoices arrive as a proper PDF with your logo on them; quotes go as a clear, professional email. Replies come straight back to your own email address, so the conversation stays with you.
Can I change the wording of the automatic messages?
Yes. Every automated message — quotes, invoices, reminders, chasers — can be reworded to sound like you rather than like software.
What happens when someone doesn't pay?
PatchUp chases them for you automatically — at 3, 7 and 14 days overdue, in wording you choose. Everything outstanding and everything overdue sits on one screen, so nothing quietly slips.
What about my accountant?
There's a full invoice history you can export whenever you need it.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from your settings. No contract, no notice period, no phone call.
The name
Why PatchUp?
You patch things up for a living. A leak, a fuse, a cracked tile, a boiler that's given up on a Sunday. Someone's problem, sorted, and you're on to the next one.
The trouble is the admin never gets the same treatment. Quotes go unanswered, invoices sit unpaid, and the diary lives across three text messages and a scrap of paper.
So we patch up the other end — the gap between finishing the job and actually getting paid for it.
